Robertson & Markowitz Advertising and Public Relations, Inc. has won a prestigious 2008 Telly Award in the 29th Annual Telly Awards competition. Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards is the premier award competition honoring outstanding television commercials and paid programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. 

Robertson & Markowitz’s award-winning entry was a seven-minute Travel/Tourism High Definition video produced for the Savannah Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). Entitled “Savannah Destination,” the HD video is used as a marketing tool by the Savannah Area CVB.  It was produced under the guidance of agency principal, Lisa Markowitz-Kitchens, and video footage was shot and edited by Mark Mooney of Crescent Moon Pictures, Inc. in Bluffton, SC.

The Telly Awards is a widely known and highly respected national and international competition. This year’s competition received more than 14,000 entries from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, and corporations in the world. Judges consist of a group of highly qualified industry professionals from all regions of the United States, representing large and small firms including advertising agencies, TV stations, production houses and corporate video departments.
