The list represents a wide variety of brands from candy to auto to video games and more along with an explanation for each pick. We have to admit – we spotted their number one from a mile away, as it was our office pick for favorite Super Bowl ad. Who can resist a cute kid in a Darth Vader suit? Yes, we’re talking about Volkswagen’s “The Force”, which Adweek named as their “Best Commercial of 2011” after premiering during Super Bowl XLV. According to Adweek, the spot, which advertises the 2012 Volkswagen Passat, has “44 million views on YouTube, a reported 6.8 billion impressions worldwide [and] more than $100 million in earned media”.
