Twitter Donates Promoted Tweets for Sandy

In a very cool move, Twitter has "donated" free promoted tweets to several natural disaster aid  and other organizations including the Red Cross, FEMA, the New York City’s Mayor’s Office and the Maryland Emergency Management Agency to help get the word out about Hurricane Sandy and ways we can all help. Twitter has encouraged other state and local authorities to contact them for promoted posts as well. Bravo Twitter!
