Bulloch County is strategically located near two major interstates, railways and Savannah—home to one of the busiest ports in the U.S. Long known for its thriving agriculture industry and rapidly growing Georgia Southern University, Bulloch County was experiencing exponential growth in a short period of time. With announcements of nearly one billion dollars in investments and approximately 1,600 new jobs from new manufacturers within 18 months, not everyone was excited about these changes.
RobMark created and implemented a strategic plan that included addressing community concerns, stakeholder issues, and area elected officials and staff priorities, in addition to communications regarding the state of the county and development, impact of the nearby Hyundai metaplant, housing needs, transportation, groundwater, the signature groundbreaking for new industry– including a sustainable German-based plastics recycler–and more.
RobMark’s efforts helped the development authority to bridge relationships with its stakeholders through informative communications, community and intergovernmental outreach, media relations, site visits, and other initiatives.
