A big “congratulations” goes out to one of our own!
Kinzie Collett has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Friends of the Coastal Botanical Gardens as Chairman of the Marketing & Public Relations committee. As such, Kinzie will help to spread the word about the fantastic fundraising events and educational programs put on by the Friends and the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. The Friends of the Coastal Botanical Gardens’ mission is to “provide financial and human resources” for the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens.
The Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens is located right outside of downtown Savannah and is home to the historic Bamboo Farm. The botanical garden is going through a transformation that incudes a 26-acre expansion that should be completed within the next few years.
