Wendy’s is holding a call for entries for the 2013 Wendy’s High School Heisman! The Wendy’s High School Heisman honors both male and female high school students who excel in academics, athletics and student leadership. Eligibility for application is limited exclusively to men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2013-2014 academic year who have at least a "B" grade average and participate in at least one of the 27 sports officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools. Students are judged based on their academic achievements, community service involvement and athletic accomplishments. Savannah began participating in the Wendy’s High School Heisman program began in 1996. Since 2000, the greater Savannah area has had 35 State Finalists and 4 State Winners.
