The Wendy’s High School Heisman honors both male and female high school students who excel in academics, athletics and student leadership.Winners are men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2013-2014 academic year who have at least a "B" grade average and participate in at least one of the 27 sports officially sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools.

Jerry Davis was our only state finalist from our DMA and one of the VERY few in several years from the Chatham County School District. He attends Groves High School where he excels in three sports: football, basketball and track. In addition, Davis is very active in the community and  his church. His future plans include attending a four year university to study either Engineering or Architecture. Congratulations Jerry!
