Robertson & Markowitz Advertising and Public Relations, Inc. has won a National Winner Award and four National Finalist Awards in the 2005 Silver Microphone Competition. The national competition was open to more than 40,000 eligible participants and is designed to select the best radio commercials, audio programs and web sites created by advertising agencies, audio production companies and radio stations in the United States.

Robertson & Markowitz’s award-winning entries include a National Winner in the Political Single Category for radio. The winning entry was a :60 second radio commercial created for the Chatham County Democratic Party as an anti-negative ad entitled “Enough is Enough”. The commercial was written and produced by agency principle, Ted Robertson.

Other National Finalist winning entries include two awards in both the Campaign and Single Entry radio sections of the Resorts/Tourism Category for The Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, and one campaign award in the Real Estate Category for radio for Genesis Designer Homes. All three entries were written and produced by the agency’s Creative Director, Heather Thompson.

A final recognition was one award in the Entertainment Category for radio for Comcast’s digital cable service. The entry was written by Daniel Callaway.

All creative spots were under the direction of agency principles Ted Robertson and Lisa Markowitz Kitchens.
