Don’t have weekend plans? Here some phenomenal music at Savannah Philharmonic’s “Celebrate America!” concert tonight and tomorrow, October 19 – 20 at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts. This patriotic concert features some of the most upbeat music from the orchestral repertoire, featuring an All-American cast of composers including Gershwin, Elmer Bernstein and Leonard Bernstein. The concert will also feature soloists Ann Marie McPhail (soprano) and Joshua Carswell (tenor), who were co-winners of the 2012 American Traditions Competition.
