American Airlines introduced a redesigned logo recently, and as with any iconic logo rebrand, it has been met with mixed opinions. The change represents the brand’s commitment to progress and modernization that also includes many on-flight improvements. The company made sure pay tribute to its deep historic heritage with the new look. The redesigned logo includes a clean, simple font and "the Flight Symbol", which evokes the iconic eagle that’s been present in all other American Airlines logos dating back to 1934.
