Here’s a crazy statistic as posted on Mashable today: 22% of the world’s web pages reference Facebook. There are 1.3 billion web pages on the Internet and more than 242 million of them reference the social media giant. This information comes from Common Crawl, which is similar to Google’s web crawling tool. Also included in the report are numbers like the more than 471 million total Facebook URLs as well as information and statistics on just how integrated Facebook’s infrastructure is into the entire web.
