Exciting news for public relations professionals here in Savannah! After much anticipation, Savannah is holding an interest meeting for a possible Savannah PRSA Chapter tomorrow, September 30 at 8:30 am at the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
For those of you unfamiliar with PRSA, it is the world’s largest professional public relations and communications organization. There are more than 100 chapters across the United States with more than 21,000 members. A Savannah chapter would be a wonderful professional addition to our local public relations community for many reasons. Some of the many benefits a PRSA member can look forward to include networking with other industry contacts, professional recognition and awards, professional development programs and industry conferences, and access to PRSA’s many helpful resources such as newsletters and blogs.
