Our very own Christie Koppel was featured in the Savannah Morning News’ Exchange article on SavTweetup. This group of Tweeters and followers organizes monthly get-togethers to network, form new friendships and serve the Savannah community. Official Tweetups are held at carefully selected Savannah locations and all are welcome. The group has grown substantially since its founding in 2010 and now has over 600 followers on Twitter. It’s refreshing to see our creative city of Savannah embrace these new forms of social communication. It also reminds us that while social media is great communication tool, nothing can replace face-to-face interaction.
