This is pretty cool. Imagine walking around downtown Charlotte, NC and seeing a New York subway. In an age where advertising clutter is everywhere, this makes a definite attention-grabbing statement. First, it directly relates to what it’s selling, but in a unique way. Time Warner wants their customers in one of their biggest markets, Charlotte, to know that they have special same-day access to movies being screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. In a way, a little bit of Tribeca is coming to Charlotte. The Tribeca font and art are taken directly from the New York subway. Props to Ogilvy & Mather for the fantastic execution.
