Now Boarding

THE CHALLENGE

Savannah/Hilton Head International was interested in developing a creative campaign that showcased the airport’s latest nonstop destinations. The campaign message needed to be simple enough to translate on billboards and banner ads (among other media), and versatile enough that it could be adapted for the growing list of new destinations.

THE ROBMARK STRATEGY

RobMark presented Savannah/Hilton Head International with a concept for a campaign that was simple, versatile, and would ultimately grab the attention of the consumer. We also developed a corresponding marketing strategy for the campaign that included billboards, print and online ads, and social media ads.

Each individual creative piece for the Now Boarding campaign featured a nonstop destination and a corresponding visual for that destination. RobMark also developed a landing page on the airport’s website specifically for the campaign, driving all creative to this landing page. The landing page enticed consumers to specific calls to action to book flights for the new nonstop destinations. RobMark continued to develop new creative and update the campaign landing page as new destinations were added throughout the year.

THE RESULTS

Savannah/Hilton Head International’s Now Boarding campaign was immensely successful. The social media portion of the campaign resulted in over 800 website conversions, while online display ads received over seven million impressions and over 700 conversions. Billboards and print ads increased brand awareness while also contributing to the thousands of direct traffic visits to the campaign landing page. To date, Savannah/Hilton Head International’s Now Boarding campaign landing page has seen nearly 25,000 pageviews and resulted in a total of 2,480 conversions.
