Pack Your Bags Campaign

THE CHALLENGE

Savannah/Hilton Head International was interested in developing an integrated marketing campaign that would feature the various new or returning nonstop services that its eight airlines offer. The campaign needed to be simple yet eye-catching, so it would appeal to a variety of consumers and be adaptable across multiple mediums, from billboards to social media ads.

THE ROBMARK STRATEGY

RobMark presented the “Pack Your Bags” campaign to Savannah/Hilton Head International. The creative for the campaign features individual nonstop destinations, each with a corresponding suitcase. Inside each suitcase is a collection of items that is specific to each destination, showcasing that city’s top attractions, icons, staple foods, and more. The fun and colorful suitcase items against a bright blue background easily grabbed the attention of consumers. The “Pack Your Bags” campaign has been used across many traditional and digital mediums, including billboards, print ads, TV, display ads, and social media ads.

THE RESULTS

The “Pack Your Bags” campaign was a fun and creative way to get the message across about Savannah/Hilton Head International’s growing number of nonstop destinations. The campaign was an immense success, with digital and social ads contributing to over 332,579 website sessions and 10,833 conversions.

Thanks to these marketing efforts, the variety of nonstop services offered, and other efforts by Savannah/Hilton Head International, the airport has continued to experience record-breaking growth. From January through June 2018, the airport had served 1,074,352 passengers, an increase of 11% over the same period a year ago. They also welcomed 268,655 travelers to the region in May 2018 with an increase of 14% in enplanements.
